Reggae Nights at Sacbe Beach Shack in Cancun. Let’s Dance!

I recently included Sacbe Beach Shack as one of CancunAsh’s recommended spots for a great beach club for the day. But, what I neglected to mention was that Sacbe, before COVID, also hosted an incredible Full Moon Party. Last March, I attended, with my hubby and a few friends the first of what should have been many fun events to come at this beautiful beach club. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the fire dancers, upbeat tunes, beach grill and bottomless tropical drinks all under a breathtaking full “worm” moon. Unfortunately, that was the first and last event that we attended until January 2021. Finally, after almost 1 year, Sacbe has once again started offering occasional night events for its hotel guests ( Marriot Cancun) and locals. Which brings me to Sacbe Beach’s Reggae Nights.

Reggae Nights Cancun

On January 29th, a few of my friends, hubby and I went to the Reggae Night at Sacbe Beach Shack. It was the first event that we had gone to since last March due to COVID. Since it was held outdoors and complied with current safety measures, our small group, felt comfortable attending it. I am so glad that we did! It was simply wonderful to meet up with friends that we hadn’t seen in a while. And, of course, nothing beats listening to live music under a star-studded sky illuminated by a spectacular full moon.

If you love live reggae music and dancing on the beach at night then this event is definitely for you. Currently, Sacbe features this event twice a month. What to Expect at the Event

Reggae Night at Sacbe starts at 7pm and ends at 11. Tydal Wave performs a mix of popular reggae hits with the Caribbean ocean as their backdrop. Choose from huge bean bags as well as comfortable beach chairs and big tables spaced out for guests. I just loved the selection of regional dishes as well as their full bar featuring artisanal beers, a variety of mezcal and other tropical drinks.
